Asia

Asia holds a special place in my heart. My first experience there was at age 15, when I spent three weeks in Japan as an exchange student. I attended a local school, lived with a host family, and got to explore several cities across the country. It was my first time immersing myself in a culture so different from my own—and it opened my eyes to the beauty of connecting across cultures.

Later, while living in Australia, I traveled through Asia for several months. I taught yoga at a resort in Bali, wandered through ancient temples and villages in Cambodia (a country I completely fell in love with), and spent a month soaking up the vibrant energy of Thailand. Each destination offered something unforgettable.

On a separate trip from New Zealand, I returned to Asia and visited Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Cambodia once again. That journey only deepened my love for the region—its warmth, richness, and cultural depth continue to inspire me. I’m always excited to help others explore Asia and experience the magic for themselves.
